FAMUFEST is a multi-genre film festival organized annually by FAMU students in Prague. The festival allows viewers outside the school environment to see the latest works of its students. It also addresses the cultural public with the intention of introducing new talents that will co-create the future of Czech cinematography, television production, photography and other media. FAMUFEST has been taking place in autumn since 1983. The central theme of the 35th year is a bridge as a symbol expressing the main idea of FAMUFEST – physical as well as artistic connection.
