PETR HÁJEK ARCHITECTS: CONCERT HALL IN IMPERIAL BATHS 2023

An innovative dialogue between old and new is the multifunctional hall designed by the award-winning Petr Hájek Architects studio for the listed building of the Imperial Baths in Karlovy Vary. The unique, significantly red built-in structure floats on steel legs in the middle of the hall, while the built-in structure consistently avoids any direct contact with the Neo-Renaissance building. Designed with respect for the historic space, the hall also reflects the requirement for variation. It can be used not only for concerts, but also for film screenings, theatre or conferences and various social events.
